This was a sweet story of a young woman with no expectations and two lonely children who needed her. Sadly, the story has no hitches and it resembles a fairy tale of everyone of the characters are perfectly decent people. It was almost too sweet and actually geared to be read by young ladies who have no concept of adventure. I enjoyed the innocence and the fairy tale aspect, but would recommend it for a younger audience.Product details

I've been buying all these books about the "Duke" for some time now. However, almost none of them actually even talk about John Wayne. I mean, how do you put Duke in the title and not talk about John Wayne or at least have "The Duke" as a character? Instead, all these books seem to be about some "man-hungry" woman from back in horse and buggy days. Now, never let it be said that I'm not all about promoting man-hungry women. But unless we are actually going to have John Wayne in the book, lets leave the Duke out of the title.

Straight forward story typical of the genre. No issues except that I don't seem to be able to get out of this review without writing a set number of words.
